UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case

Sometimes you may come across some documents that you will need to change between lowercase, uppercase, and title case. It can sometimes be time-consuming to go back and forth to the buttons on Word to change it. An easy way to do this is to click on your keyboard, Shift+F3. This will automatically change our letters from uppercase to lowercase or vice-versa. Another way to change from uppercase to lowercase, and title case is to click the Aa button on your 'Home' page on Word.



The differences between UPPERCASE, lowercase, and Title Case. You would use uppercase when you are wanting to bring a specific topic to your readers' attention. You would also use uppercase if you feel strongly about something. For example, "WOW!! BIG SALE!" However, lowercase in a Word document is the most used. As you see in this blog post that most of the words are lowercase. This is a calm and preferred approach to write documents with. Title case is used when you are writing an e-mail in the subject section. Title case is also used when you need to capitalize pronouns. For example is a subtitle of a paper would be, Health Effects Institute Conference.
